the headstock got a maple top and its final shaping. First a drawing, then an acrylic template, then a fat mdf-template to guide the router
Our skilled dentist made an inlay. The contours of the dragon shaped piece of pearl were scratched into the yellow paint. Then that shape was routed out.

The yellow tempera paint has gone, the cavity is perfect and the dentist is supergluing the inlay. Afterwards it will be sanded flush. He did a perfect job.

My guitar body has to be prepared for the routing of the neck pocket. The front of the top gets this 5 degree angle. Thomas does this for me.

Gluing in the neck has to be done quickly. Check Thomas`face! He`s always relaxed and friendly and there is no doubt that he loves his job!
